Frequently Asked Questions

  • Interference between multiple readers and writers

    When two or more readers are working at the same time, in order to prevent adjacent readers from interfering with each other, the readers must meet the following two requirements when installing and debugging:

    1) The center distance between the antennas of two adjacent readers is greater than 3 meters;

    2) The working frequencies of two adjacent readers are set to 920MHz-925MHz frequency hopping, and the frequency hopping interval is recommended to be 1MHz.


  • The "PWR" indicator light on the upper panel does not light up after powering on.

    1) Power supply system failure: Check whether the power supply of the power adapter is normal and whether the AC power supply voltage is between 100V and 240V;

    2) If other indicators are on, the internal MCU is faulty. Once the MCU fails, the user can only contact Yuanwanggu Company to discuss maintenance matters.


  • The serial port cannot be connected

    1) The baud rate of the reader is 115200bps, and the value of the XC_BaudRate item in the sysit.cfg file under the installation path is 115200;

    2) Is the selected COM port consistent with the connection between the reader and the PC;

    3)Whether the serial port cable is connected correctly. If the cable is not connected or the connection is not reliable, the PC commands cannot be sent to the reader/writer 5 and the card cannot be read;

    4) Whether the serial port cable or network cable is connected correctly. If the cable is not connected or the connection is not reliable, the PC commands cannot be sent to the reader/writer;

    5)Please check whether the antenna SMA connector is tightened and whether the label is damaged, otherwise the MCU of the reader is faulty and the user can only contact Yuanwanggu Company to discuss repair matters;
